After the trunk-or-treat, my mom and Brittany went with us as we took the kids trick-or-treating door to door in the Rolling Hills neighborhood. There were some nicely decorated homes and the kids had fun doing the more traditional part of Halloween. The trunk-or-treat had started at 6 and we were there for an hour, so we figured the boys would still want to do some major trick-or-treating but they were seriously exhausted within an hour. So we called it a night after just going up and down two streets and then took the very sleepy Halloweeners to see Grandma Linda before heading home to Tempe. Shazer brought his ocarina but never did play it. Sally, on the other hand, never tired of sharing her Little Bo Peep rhyme with any kindly person who'd open their door and give her candy :)
haha! my kids were zonked after only a short time of door-to-door as well! i guess they just don't make these new halloweeners like they use to!
