We tried it last night as part of FHE and the kids loved it. If you're looking for something cheap, fun, and super easy to do with the kids to decorate for Halloween then you should definitely try this. I really liked how it turned out and it was really super easy. If you want to make it even more cost effective, I think it would probably be just as cute with wrapping paper or tissue paper instead of fabric.
Here's how ours turned out. Notice our cool new photo art in the background; my friend Susan Carr (www.susancarrphotography.com) made it for our family. It uses architectural features of temples to spell out Thwaits :)
